Dr Caroline Morgan BM (hons) DM FRCP
Dr Caroline Morgan qualified from Southampton Medical School in 1994. After Junior Hospital Posts in Portsmouth, Southampton, Bournemouth and Poole, she undertook a 2 year period of research into the absorption of drugs through the skin. This resulted in the award of Doctorate of Medicine in 2001 (DM). She then joined the Wessex Dermatology Registrar Training Programme.
In 2006 she was appointed as a Consultant Dermatologist to Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. She spent 2007 in Perth, Australia with time spent working in a specialised skin cancer and surgery clinic, returning to Dorset to set up the dermatological skin cancer service in 2008. Caroline is Lead Clinician for skin cancer at Poole Hospital NHS Trust.
Her work has been published nationally and internationally, winning a number of awards.
She treats all aspects of dermatology including the management of skin cancer. She is a member of the following societies:
- British Association of Dermatologists
- British Society of Dermatological Surgery
- British Society of Paediatric Dermatology
- Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians
